Larry J. Delorme,"Apache", 65, of Parkesburg, departed from his earthly journey on May 24, 2014. His battle with pancreatic cancer ended at his home with his wife by his side.

Born in West Chester , he was the son of the late Donald J. Jackson and Phyllis D. Delorme. He was the beloved husband of Jacqueline L. Delorme with whom he shared 27 years of marriage.

He had been employed at Comcast formerly Suburban Cable for 9 years. He was a handyman who enjoyed fixing things. He also enjoyed jazz, hunting, and animals.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline L. Delorme of Parkesburg; one son, Hashim J. Delorme of Philadelphia; one daughter, Akilah (Darnell) Delorme-Pearsall of New Castel, Delaware; two brothers, Ronald (Kathy) Dorsey of West Chester and Donald Jackson of Los Vegas; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held privately at a later date.
