Kim L. White

On Thursday, August 20, 2026, Kim L. White, of Huntingdon Valley, PA, formerly of Downingtown, PA, passed away at Abington/Jefferson Hospital in Abington, PA. She was 70 years old.

Kim was born in Philadelphia, PA, in 1956, the daughter of the late Donald Gordon Lawson and Helen Elizabeth (Coulbourne) Lawson.

She was a graduate of Germantown High School.

Kim worked as a Court Clerk Supervisor at the Montgomery County Courthouse, Norristown, PA, for 32 years, and served with pride until her retirement in 2018. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she loved gardening, flowers, her dogs Sasha & Noel, her family, friends, and neighbors.

Kim leaves treasured memories to her husband, Micheal R. White, Sr., two daughters, Kristin Harris and Desha Harris James (son-in-law John James); four granddaughters, Morgan Hamilton, Shayna Hamilton, Deanna Harris and Dayna Harris; five great grandchildren; her sisters, Adrienne Lawson, Cyd D. Lawson, Terri Sojourner, Camilla F. Lawson, Reggie Carr, Dolores Lawson, and Margie Harris.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Rae M. Lawson, LaLei L. Lawson, and brothers Donald G. Lawson, Jr., and Anthony M. Lawson.

She also leaves treasured memories to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends, including her closest, dearest friend, Lela Steward.

A memorial service in remembrance of Kim is being planned for a later date.
