Kiasha L. Washington-Mitchell, 45, of Darby, PA, passed away, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in West Chester, PA, in 1977, she was the daughter of Walter L. Butcher, IV, and the late Mary Francis Washington.

Kiwi, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was a 1996 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School. After high school, she attended medical school. Kiasha worked as a home health nurse.

Kiasha had a lively personality. She was caring, nurturing and was the life of the party. She always wanted to make people smile.

Kiasha enjoyed watching movies, and her favorite TV shows, the Simpsons, Rick and Morty, and Tyler Perry shows and movies.   She was very protective of her children. She would often say, "I'll run you over with my truck" and "I'll be right there."  She never hesitated to be there for her children.

Kiasha will be deeply missed by her four children, Shyheim Washington (Autumn) of Franklin, GA, Yazmyne Johnson of Collingdale, PA, Zyarah Johnson of Darby, PA, and Iziah Washington (Bryanna Gonzalez) of Coatesville; grandchildren, Leila Washington, and Skylar Washington; father, Walter L. Butcher, IV of Coatesville; siblings, Walter Washington, V (Latoya), Kevin Washington (Darnice) both of Coatesville, Shanna Washington (Stephen) and Davionna Washington, both of Penndel, PA; grandparents, Linda May Washington of West Chester, Myrtle and Walter Butcher, III, all of West Chester, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tyrone Keith Washington.

A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA followed by a Life Celebration Service at 11 AM.
