Kevin "Kevy" Brier, 75, of Scranton, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and an infectious smile.  Though Kevy had no wife or children, he had an extraordinary gift for making everyone around him fee like family, creating a community bound by love, laughter, and shared passions.

Born on February 21, 1950, Kevy was a resident of Dunmore through his college years, where he became a family and beloved figure on neighborhood biking adventures.   He had a passion for bike riding and became an avid swimmer at the community pool.

Whether he was tackling a steep hill or cruising along a quiet path, his love for bike riding was a testament of his belief in embracing every moment with vigor and joy.  In his home gym, Kevin was a force to be reckoned with; his dedication to weightlifting inspired those around him.  He wasn't just lifting weights; he was building a community, always offering a word of encouragement, or a hearty laugh that echoed through the room with a smile that went from ear to ear.

Kevy had a rare ability to forge deep connections, turning acquaintances and roomates alike into lifelong friends.

He treated everyone like family, listening with car, offering advice, garnered through his life experiences, and celebrating life's big and small moments with equal enthusiasm.

Kevin is survived by his beloved sister, Deidre Tenenbaum and countless friends who were his chosen family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jane Brier as well as his older brother, Scott Brier.

Kevin's strength, generosity, and boundless spirit will continue to inspire us all.  May he ride on in eternal peace, forever lifting the hearts of those he touched and leaving a void that can never be filled.
