Kesha Shanae McMullen of Coatesville, passed away Wednesday May 4, 2011 at the Paoli Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of Sharon Hamilton Thompson and Elder Ernest L. McMullen
She attended the Coatesville area public schools and graduated from CASH in 1999. After high school she enrolled in the CHI Institute in Broomall, Pennsylvania, where she received her medical training.

She had been employed as a nursing assistant at the Coatesville VA Medical Center for the past five years.

She was a member of the Bethel AME Church in South Coatesville.

Kesha was a quiet, kind, and friendly person who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping online and listening to music. She loved to get all dressed up and hang out with her sisters and her friends. Everyone who knew Kesha knows she had a special interest in stiletto heels and designer pocketbooks.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother Sharon Thompson of Coatesville; her father Elder Ernest L. McMullen and his wife Amanda of Downingtown; brother, Ernest D. McMullen and his wife Alesha; sisters Sharmeen McMullen, Carla Trowery and her husband Marcus; step-brothers James L. Scott and his wife Darlene and Julius L. Scott all of Coatesville; maternal grandmother Mary Edna Hamilton of Coatesville; godchildren, Lebron Johnson and Savion David Terry and host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Kesha in her quite way was a loving, daughter, sister, granddaughter, godmother, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend, sister, cousin, niece & friend.  Her presence, her laughter and baby voice will be deeply missed.  Her memory will remain in our hearts forever.
