Kendra Nichole Franklin, 31, of Avondale, PA passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia, PA.

Born in West Chester, PA, she was the daughter of  Charreen Nichole McKim and Terrance Lamot Franklin, Sr.

She was a 2010 graduate of Hampton High School in Virginia. Kendra had a passion for all types of animals and enjoyed going fishing. She loved her children and cherished spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed cooking collard greens, steak, and spaghetti, and she loved dancing and listening to R&B music, especially by Chris Brown.

Kendra was preceded in death by grandparents, Delores Franklin and Garry Winters.

She is survived by her mother, Charreen Nichole McKim; father, Terrance Lamot Franklin, Sr., children, Xiomaria Nicole Smallwood, Aniah Janae Franklin of Avondale, PA; siblings, Teresha LaNay Franklin of Oxford, PA, Terrance Lamot Franklin, Jr., Diamond LaShay Palmer, Alan Lamont Norris, Jr. all of Avondale, PA, LeiMeredith Byers of Baltimore, MD, Leondra Graves of Arlington, VA, Delayne Graves, and Leon Edwards III, both of Hampton, VA, Deionne Edwards of Washington, DC; maternal grandmother, Virginia Draper of Avondale, PA; maternal grandfather, Roland Phillips; paternal grandfather, Reginald Brunson of Hampton, VA; step-mother, Deena Moore of Hampton, VA, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends that were her "family".

A funeral service is planned for 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Christ Community Fellowship, 356 Chatham Rd., West Grove, PA, 19390. A viewing will be held beginning at 11:00 AM until 12:45 PM.
