On Monday, July 21, 2025, Julianka Lavonne Witherspoon, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away at Vistas Methodist Hospice Center in Philadelphia. She was 53 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Susan Witherspoon and Gerald White.

Julianka was a graduate of the Philadelphia High School for Girls. She attended Lincoln Tech and received a medical certificate.

For 4 years, Julianka was employed as a Laboratory Technician at WuXi AppTec in Philadelphia, PA.

She enjoyed singing, cooking, and reading books. Most of all, she loved her family.

Julianka will be deeply missed by her children, Bryanna Stephens, Cianni Smith, and Patrick Smith; granddaughter, Peyton Stephens; siblings, Tammy, Dawn,  Jerry, and Jwan, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gerald.

Julianka was a beloved mother, sister, and friend. She will be remembered with love forever in our hearts.
