Juanita Denise Jacks passed away November 10, 2020, at Chester County Hospital in West Chester.
Born in Coatesville, PA, she was the daughter of Arthur Tucker and Viola London Johnson and Rev. Rodger Johnson. She was the devoted wife of Anthony Jacks, Sr. with whom she shared 32 years of marriage.
Neicey, as she was affectionately called, was a 1981 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School. Over her 30 years in nursing career, she had been employed at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, Saint Martha Manor, Harrison House of Christiana, Coatesville High School and most recently Pocopson Nursing Home in West Chester. She found great joy in taking care of people. Consequently, she made a big impact on many people.
Neicey was a Philadelphia Eagles fan. In her spare time, she loved watching Family Feud, law and Order Special Victims Unit and Channel 6 News. Her family will miss her being the glue of it all.
Neicey is survived by her husband Anthony Jacks, Sr; children: Aja London (Bryan Lacey), Chantal London and Anthony Jacks, Jr. (Moriah) and Sharae Crockett (Larry) all from Coatesville; parents, Arthur Tucker of Coatesville, Viola Johnson and Rev. Rodger Johnson of Coatesville; brothers, Maurice Hardy of Philadelphia, Barry Hardy (Mallory) of Lancaster; sister, Wanda Tucker of Coatesville; The Johnson's brothers and sisters all from Coatesville; Grandmothers, Pearl London and Dorothy Harrell Johnson; Uncle William London (Barbara); 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Neicey was preceded in death by her grandfather, David London.
A walk-thru public viewing will be held from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, on Friday, November 20, 2020, at Gateway Church, 160 Cowan Road, Parkesburg. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral service will be held privately with limited seating for the immediate family only. Interment will be in Church of Christ Cemetery, Coatesville, PA .
Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of the service. The theme colors are purple and lavender.
