Joseph Manuel Dennis was born July 1, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

"Manny" as he was affectionately called, attended school in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from Strawberry Mansion High School in June 1979, and attended the Community College of Philadelphia from January 1980 until January 1982, majoring in business.

Joseph was a US Army Veteran, serving from 1982 until he was honorably discharged in 1992.

He worked as a chef and cook in various jobs throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas.

Joseph became involved in a program called "Ready, Willing and Able" which encourage him to enrich his life by learning and becoming more involved in work ethics and higher learning.

Manny enjoyed reading comic books, going to the movies, and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents Essie and Edward Wiggins.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister, Marcella (Arnold) Willis of East Fallowfield, Pa., one niece, Ebonì Willis, two nephews, Xavier Willis and Ellington Davenport, a long-time companion, Ms. Martha along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Manny's presence will be deeply missed. He is gone, but will never be forgotten. The memories we shared will forever be treasured in our hearts.

Services will be held on Monday, June 4, 2012, at 11 AM at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.
