John A. Nash

John A. Nash, 78, of West Chester, PA, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Green Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Paoli.

Born in West Chester, he was the son of the late Harry W. Nash and Louise Clark Nash.

John graduated from Henderson High School in 1968, where he played basketball, ran track and cross country, and competed in the Penn Relays. Over the years, he continued to attend the Penn Relays and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. He also enjoyed taking long walks and watching sports.

He is survived by two daughters, Theresa Irons (Darrell) and Candace Denise Dike both of Coatesville; one son, John Spriggs of Delaware; brothers, Harry W. Nash, Jr. (Jackie) of West Chester, and Allen R. Nash, Sr. of Bowie, MD; grandchildren, Shequita Bell, Kevetta Bell; great-grandchildren: Jaquise Bell, Zaniyah Starr, Damya Myers, Alaia Bell, Jahlil Bell, and a host of other relatives and friends.
