John W. Marsh, Jr.

1968 - 2014

John William Marsh, Jr., 46 of Pomeroy, passed away December 30, 2014 at the Pembrooke Nursing Home in West Chester. Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late John, Sr., and Susan J. (Martin) Marsh. His educational studies included 1986 graduate of CASH, 1990 graduate of Bucknell University, Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Masters Degree in Business Management from the University of Michigan, Doctorate in Law from the University of Pittsburgh. John's former employer was The Kellogg's Corporation.  He was the sole proprietor of Triton Seafood Restaurant in Thorndale which he opened in 2013. He enjoyed cooking and traveling.  He is survived by his mother, Susan J. Marsh; a brother, James E. (Dana) Marsh of Parkesburg; a sister, Michelle James of Berwyn; nephews and nieces, Quinn Marsh, Cole Marsh, Janae Marsh, Chloe James and Christine Neal; his maternal grandmother, Jane A. Wilson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Church of Christ, 750 Doe Run Rd, Ercildoun, PA. There will be no public viewing per the family's request. Friends may greet the family during visitation hours beginning at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Church of Christ Cemetery. Condolences from organizations and churches may be emailed or faxed to the funeral home by Monday 9 p.m.
