Obituary

Jesse J. Parker, 82, of Coatesville, PA passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the Coatesville V.A. Hospital.

Born in Coatesville, Jesse was the youngest of eleven children born of the late John and Edna Parker. He was the husband of Florence E. (Wood) Parker with whom he shared 22 years of marriage.

Jesse was educated in the Coatesville Area School District. A veteran, he served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy. He worked as a nurse's aide at the Coatesville VA Hospital, and at Kelly's Services as a security guard.

Jesse enjoyed watching westerns on TV, watching sports, and taking pictures.

Jesse was preceded in death by two brothers, James Parker, Henry Parker; eight sisters: Josephine Spencer, Louise Rokins, Elizabeth Thompson, Ernestine Mazzi, Nina Mae Rokins, Inez Grove-Green, Ruby Parker, and Francis Green.

In addition to his wife, Florence, Jesse is survived by two daughters, Dana Parker of Coatesville, Edna Parker of Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11 AM on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, 725 Merchant Street, in Coatesville, PA with a viewing beginning at 10 AM.

Interment will be held at Church of Christ Cemetery, Ercildoun, PA.
