Private First Class (PFC) Jeffrey Scott DeJesus, United States Marine Corps, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Born in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, he was the devoted son of Rochell B. Reid DeJesus and the late Cecilio C. DeJesus, Sr.

Jeffrey received his education at Coatesville Area Senior High School, Class of 1986. He earned numerous awards and honors for his accomplishments in Track & Field and Football. He then attended Shippensburg University for Sports Management. Jeffrey joined the Marines and was stationed at Parris Island, South Carolina, where he received the highest honor in basic training. He was named Honor Man in the United States Marine Corps. He also received the Leatherneck Award.

After the Marines, Jeffrey played the position of tackle on the semi-pro football team, the Scranton Eagles, in 1997. The Scranton Eagles were one of the most celebrated and dominant semi-professional football franchises in the United States.

His legacy will forever be cherished by his loving son, Donovan DeJesus; wife, Stacey DeJesus; stepchildren, Sydney and Madison; mother, Rochell B. Reid DeJesus; brothers: Cecilio C. DeJesus, Eric L. DeJesus, Carl A. DeJesus, Carlos A. DeJesus, Arthur J. Middleton, Alfred J. DeJesus, Cecilio Cartagena lll; sisters, Rosita DeJesus, Michelle L. DeJesus, Mai-Ling Middleton and Florence C. DeJesus; special friends, Mike Williams and Dwayne Jones along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by many loved ones who passed before him, including his beloved nephews, Dashan White and Ra’jhun Tinson, whose memories he carried with him always.

The impact of his life will be felt for generations to come.
