Jasie Cheden Parker, 85, of Coatesville, PA passed away Friday, July 30, 2021, at home.  Born in Columbia, SC he was the son of the late Amos and Alberta Gillie Parker.

Jasie was a handyman and a laborer. He loved to read books, newspapers, and news journals. He was known to be up on current events. He enjoyed shadow boxing and communicating with young people about life.   He enjoyed long walks and leisurely sitting by the water. Most of all he enjoyed socializing.

He is survived by his brother, George Parker of Coatesville, PA; his sister, Lilliane Mae Katherine Parker of Las Vegas, Nevada; a special niece Charlotte Smith who took exceptionally good care of him and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Wright Funeral Home, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA.  A one-hour viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

At the family's request the service will NOT be live streamed.

Flowers may be sent to the funeral home on the day of the service.
