James Wayne Rawls, "Chinch", 74, of Coatesville, PA, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Pocopson Home, West Chester. Born in Farmville, NC, he was the son of the late Edward Rawls and Lillian Davis. He was the husband of the lateTessie B. Rawls with whom he shared 20 years of marriage.
James is survived by sons, David (Faith) Turner, Robert (Brenda) Turner, Maurice Turner, Wayman Fiorentino, John Wicks, James Rawls Deveaux all of Coatesville, Raymond (Linda) Rawls of Tacoma, WA, and Claude (Holly) Deveaux of Middlesburg, PA; daughters, Yvonne Turner of Reading, Tina (Donald) Dry of Greenville DE; I. Lynn Rawls, LaTisha Deveaux, Tasha Deveaux, all of Coatesville, PA and Dominique Rawls Deveaux of Chester, PA; special friend, Mary E. Lewis; 55 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the Second Baptist Worship Center, 857 Lumber Street, Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held from 8 AM until the service time.
Interment will be held at New Evergreen Cemetery in Coatesville, PA.
