IN LOVING MEMORY OF
James "Boobie"
Bailey
September 28, 2013
James L. Bailey was born April 22, 1945 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Marion & Henrietta Bailey Davis. He was affectionately known as "Boobie" by his family and friends.
James received his early education from the Coatesville Area public school system. He was a graduate of S. Horace Scott High School.
James worked as a truck driver for the former Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville for over 30 years until he retired.
Back in the day he enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially Harley Davidson, and had been a member of the Thunder Guard Motorcycle Club.
James was known for being particularly detailed about wiping down his car. He was really interested in cars and wheels. He also liked clothes and was known for being a sharp dresser. He enjoyed fishing in the pond and listening to oldies music.
Before we knew it, James departed this life suddenly at the age of 68.
He leaves fond and treasured memories to one daughter, April Johnson of Buffalo, NY; three sons, James R. Bailey, Maurice Thomas and Susin both of Lancaster, Darryl Bailey of Coatesville; 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, other relatives, cousins and friends.
James will be greatly missed. We will cherish his memory forever in our hearts.
You Are Not Forgotten
You are not forgotten, loved one
Nor will you ever be,
As long as life and memory last
We will remember thee.
We miss you now, our hearts are sore
As time goes by we'll miss you more.
Your loving smile, your gentle face,
No one can fill your vacant place.
