Hubert E. Speller, "Hubie", 71, of West Chester passed away July 2, 2015 at his residence. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Nancy J. Speller-Garrett and the late Hubert M. Speller.

He worked at Wyeth Labs for 29 years until he retired in 1998.

Hubie was a member of the Harmony #21 Masonic Lodge of West Chester.  He enjoyed classic cars and was a boxing fan.

He is survived by two sons, Vincent Speller of Thorndale, Garrett (Michelle) Speller, Sr. of West Chester; one daughter, Sheila Speller-Chaney of Thorndale; his mother, Nancy J. Speller-Garrett of Philadelphia; one sister, Bessie (Edward) Fisher of Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, former wife, LaRaine Speller-Calhoun and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 am, Friday, July 10, 2015 at Mt. Zion AME Church, 380 N Fairfield Road, Devon, PA.
