Harry Lee Smith, "Smitty", 81, of Coatesville, passed away May 25, 2014 at his daughter's home in West Chester.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of the late James Benjamin Smith, Sr. and Kathryn T. Williams Hatcher.

He is survived by three daughters, Lula Mae Thomas of Parkesburg, Thelma A. Lee and Priscilla Smith both of Coatesville; two sons, Tyrone (Inana) Smith of Coatesville, James L. Smith of Pomeroy; one brother, Earl (Ruby) Smith of Reading and James (Bernice) Smith of Parkesburg; one sister, Anna (George) Tucker of Coatesville; 23 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Sheila L. Peterson

Services will be held 10 am Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Brewer Memorial Baptist Church, 1996 Valley Road, Pomeroy with a viewing beginning at 8 am.

Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery, Coatesville.

Condolences may be sent to the funeral home by Friday May 30 ^th 6 pm

Flowers may be sent to the church of the day of the service. The theme color is red, white and gold.
