As-salaamu alaikum Brothers and Sisters, We are extremely saddened to inform you that Dr. Harris Tahir, husband of sister Rashida, passed away suddenly in the early hours of today, Saturday, January 15, 2022, at his residence. Dr. Harris was 52 years old. He leaves behind his wife (sister Rashida) and three daughters. May Allah(swt) forgive his shortcomings and accept all his good deeds and grant him Jannatul Firdous.  May Allah(swt) give sabr to his wife and children and the family and friends he leaves behind. Our brother, Dr. Tahir, worked as Professor at Immaculata University and also served for several years at the Foundation for Islamic Education(FIE) Villanova as Financial Advisor.  He was currently working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a Professor and had just returned to the USA last Sunday to visit his family.

He was a soft spoken person with a large smile and was always willing to help. He will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

Salatul Janaza will be at the Foundation for Islamic Education at 201 Sharp Lane, Exton PA 19341, tomorrow, Sunday, January 16, 2022 at 12:15 pm. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak St, Coatesville, PA, at 1:45 PM. Please remember Dr Harris and his family in your duas. May Allah(swt) bring peace and tranquility to the bereaved hearts.
