Gloria L. Cotten, 69, of Philadelphia formerly of Coatesville, passed away December 5, at the Sterling Health Care & Rehab Center in Media, PA.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late James and Margaret Brodie Hoggard.

She is survived by two children, Inana Cotten Smith (Tyrone) of Coatesville and Kardell M. Cotten (Janet) of West Grove; seven brothers, James Hoggard, William Hoggard and Richard Winkey (Dana) all of Coatesville, Elmer Hoggard of Lawnside, NJ, Roosevelt Hoggard of New Castle, DE, Reuben Hoggard and Clinton Hoggard both of Phila.; two sisters, Marie Smallwood (Richard) of Phila., Maytha Brown (Lonnie)  of Coatesville; 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 10 am, Sat. Dec. 12 at Hutchinson Memorial U.A.M.E. Church, 825 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, Pa.  Viewing will begin at 8 am.

Burial will be in the Church of Christ Cemetery in Ercildoun.

Flowers may be sent to the church on the day of service.The theme color is purple and white.
