Gerald E. Crutchfield, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at his residence. Born in Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Elizabeth Crutchfield-Davis and the husband of Patricia Berry Crutchfield.
He was employed as a teacher in several schools over the years.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Berry Crutchfield; sons,  Brian Wilson (Seyena) of  Folcroft, Chris Berry of Berwyn, and Craig Berry of Reading; daughters, Penny Crutchfield of Ardmore, Leslie Scott (Joseph) of Philadelphia, Allyson Bennett (Gary) of Elkins Park, and Paula Leo (Edward) of Cape May, N.J.; sisters, Geraldine Hoben, Latifah Shakir and Ilene Davis; brother, Ralph (Hattie) Davis; 15 grandchildren, two great-grands, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory "Gussy" Davis, and two sisters, Joan Davis and Marietta Davis-Downing.
Services will be held at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Oakeola, 600 W. Oak  Ln., Glenolden, PA with a viewing beginning at 4 p.m.
Interment will be held at 10:45 a.m., Friday, February 26, 2016 in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia.
