George (Medley) Irons, 71, of Phila., formerly of West Chester, passed away  February 26, 2014 at Neighborhood Hospice of West Chester. He was the son of Helen Irons and the late Charles (Susan) Medley, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by four children, Jeanine Smith of Coatesville, George Irons, Jr. of Phila, Vennette (Thomas) Suber of Norristown and Francine Medley of NJ.; 5 sisters, Leslie (Earl) Proctor of Honeybrook, Lorrie Medley of Norristown; Beulah Medley of Coatesville, Hazel Irons of Phila; Myra Wilmore of Los Angeles, Calif.; three brothers, Charles (Ree) Medley, Jr., Jason (Kara) Medley both of Honeybrook, Richard Irons both of Phila.; 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11 am, Tuesday, March 4, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates Street, Coatesville, Pa. with a viewing beginning at 9 am. Repast will follow at the church. Interment will be held privately.
