George Hajj Khalil Davis 'Khalil' of Coatesville George Hajj Khalil Davis. "Khalil", 65, of Coatesville was sent back to his Lord Dec. 25, 2013. He was a graduate of Southern High School in Philadelphia and received degrees in management and non-profit from Lincoln University and Eastern University. Khalil was a Vietnam veteran and was a faithful member of the Masjid-Ar-Rahman in Coatesville. He was employed at Gaudenzia Inc. for 33 years. He was the owner of Khalil's Book & Cultural Store in Coatesville, which was one of the first African American Book and Cultural stores in the area. Khalil enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and catching a good movie. Most of all he loved to help people and spend quality time with his twin grandsons.

He is survived by his beautiful and faithful wife Marcia Davis; daughter, Ashiya Davis; sons, Carl Piondexter and Marcus Baker; granddaughters, De'shawna Shelton and Amberlyn Lavin; grandsons, Jamaal Slater, Amir Dandridge, Armon Dandridge, and Davin Baker; great-grandchildren, D'asia, Jasir, and Treasure; sisters-in-law, Lukie Baker, and Lisa Baker; father-in-law, James Baker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carol Davis; mother, Kathryn Davis; brothers, Carol Davis, Jr., and Mikal Davis; and a son, George Davi s, Jr.

The family thanks the brothers at the Masjid-Ar-Rahman in Coatesville, his co-workers and beloved friends at Gaudenzia, Inc. for all their support.
