Franklin B. Styer III, 69, of Coatesville, PA passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022.  Born in Coatesville, PA, the son of the late Franklin B. Styer, Jr. and Myrtle Gordon Styer.

Frank was employed as a material handler for Frito Lay for 10 years.

He enjoyed playing chess, pinochle and was an avid reader. He enjoyed watching sports, especially the Phillies and the Eagles.

He was knowledgeable about what was going on in the political field. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family. Frank was known for having a nickname for just about everyone.  He often shared his advice and reminded his nieces and nephew of stories about their childhood.

Frank will be deeply missed by his son, Dameon Meeks of Coatesville; daughter, Aletha Meeks of Coatesville; stepson, Gary Meeks of Coatesville; grandchildren: Nisia Pittman, Dammond Meeks, Ko'Ajah Adjei-Meeks, Ny'Eem Johnson of Columbia, Maryland; sisters, Brenda Dorsey of Coatesville, Roberta Showell of Parkesburg; brother-in-law, Robert London of Coatesville and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda London, and Mona Styer.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville PA 19320. A walk thru visitation will begin at 10:30 AM.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the funeral service will be held privately with limited seating for only the immediate family and invited guests.

Interment will be private. Family and friends may share condolences at the guestbook link on this memorial page. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home on the day of the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
