Elsie Elizabeth Graham, affectionately known as Ms. Tippy, age 86, of Coatesville, PA passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, with her family by her side.

Elsie was born in Coatesville, PA in 1938, the daughter of the late Andy, Sr. and Ella-Mae (nee Styer) Parker.

Elsie attended Coatesville schools and worked as an aid and supervisor for many years in behavioral and mental health services. She was a long-time member of the historic Hutchinson Memorial UAME Church. Elsie enjoyed traveling, cooking and playing games. Her truest loves were her late husband, William, whom she was married to for 55 years, her family, friends, and above all, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Elsie will be missed by her family, including daughters, Arlene Bryant Scott of Jacksonville, FL, Diane Deas (Mark) of Jacksonville, FL, Jane Kennedy of Coatesville, PA; her brother, Frank Sonny Parker of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Kendra Reeves of Newport News, VA; whom she raised, Adam Scott VI of Coatesville, PA affectionately known to him as Gramps; Dionna Kennedy of Coatesville, PA; Roland Kennedy, Jr. of New York City, NY; and Justin Deas of Jacksonville, FL; eight great-grandchildren: Aiden Bolden, Amerie Flamer, Amaya Hopkins, Amir Kennedy, Autumn Kennedy, Dior Kennedy, whom she helped raise, Kanye Gilliam, and Sace Hamilton; brother-in-law Wayne (Theresa) Graham; chosen sons, Henry "Hurk" Bowman and Anthony Hatfield, Sr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Glenn Bryant, siblings, Bertha Toney, Gertrude Roane, Grace Harris, Mamie Anne Thomas, Andy Parker, Jr., and Francis Parker, and chosen son, Terrell "Dickie" Bryant.

Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the historic Hutchinson Memorial UAME Church, 825 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, PA 19320. A public viewing will be held from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM.

The interment will be held privately at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, December 6, 2024.
