Elsie W. Johnson, 91 of Oxford, was born in Bellaire, MD., to Wesley and Charlotte Gray White.  She was the wife of the late Joe Johnson.

Elsie was a member of the Allen AME Church, Oxford, PA.  She served as V. P. of the Steward Board.  She also served, as Pastor's Steward, and on the church choir.  Elsie had been employed by Vulcanized National Fiber Company of Newark, DE.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Myrtle Chapter #90.

She is survived by one brother, Lester White, two sisters, Harriett Brown and Emma Moore.

Funeral services will be held 10 am, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Allen AME Church of Oxford, with a viewing beginning at 9 am.

Interment will be in the Oxford Cemetery.
