Edward F. Fitch, 66, of Coatesville, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away, October 29, 2012 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Hubert Fitch and Catherine (nee McGovern) Fitch P. Miller.
A US Navy veteran, Eddie served until he was honorably discharged 1966.

He was a member of Saint Benedicts Roman Catholic Church in Mohnton, PA.

Eddie enjoyed writing, painting and listening to music on the radio.

He is survived by two sisters, Kathleen DeSantis, and her husband, Richard of Connecticut, Lillian Meyers, and her husband Michael of Reading; one brother, Thomas Fitch and his wife Sandi of Connecticut as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19150.
