Edward Lawrence "Brother" Bacon, Jr., was born May 13, 1951 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Edward Bacon, Sr. and Geraldine Hutcherson Bacon.  Edward was affectionately known as "Eddie" or "Brother" by his family and friends.

He received his education in the Coatesville Area School District. He had been employed by the Lukens Steel Company, Collex Collision Experts and various auto body shops in the Coatesville area.

He loved gardening, fishing, listening to country music, watching wrestling and Western's, with Bonanza being at the top of the list.  Kids loved being around him, he would always have some candy for them.  He was funny and had a great sense of humor.  He was a jokester and would always leave you with these parting words, "DON'T DO NOTHIN' FOOLISH"!

Eddie was skilled at working on cars. Following in the footsteps of his father, Eddie went on to become a master of auto body and fender work.

Eddie recently accepted the Lord as his personal Savior.  Eddie departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Friday February 6, 2015.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Perry.

He leaves one son, Tyrone Allen of York, Pa; four sisters, Syvella Dubose of Bridgeton, New Jersey, Linda Wilson of Coatesville, Sondra Brown of Downingtown, Patricia Maybin (Rodney) of Baltimore, Maryland; three brothers, Gilbert Bacon and Anthony Bacon both of Coatesville, Gerald Bacon of York, PA; two grandchildren, Amir Allen and Kenya Allen; life long friend John Long and special friend Johnny Moss and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Eddie will be greatly missed.  Though his presence is gone, his memory will be cherished in our hearts.
