Earl Henry Randolph, Jr., 66, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the UPMC Somerset Hospital in Somerset, PA.
Born in West Chester, PA, he was the son of Barbara Dennison Randolph Johnson and the late Earl H. Randolph, Sr. Earl was the husband of Beth E. Hill with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. He was known affectionately known as "Apple Head" by his family and friends.
In the early days, he worked as a laborer on construction sites and was a traveling horse handler. Earl was an avid boxer who loved fast cars, motorcycles, horses, and dogs. He was an avid chess player and he enjoyed listening to music, especially rap songs by Nelly and old-school music by James Brown. Most of all he loved his family and especially adored his grandchildren.
Earl is survived by his wife, Beth E. Hill of Lancaster; two sons, Tyrone Murrey (Denise Sanchez) of Lancaster, Eric Jackson of Kennett Square; daughter, Johnnette Hill (Quincy Harris) of Lancaster; mother, Barbara Johnson; brother, James Randolph (Antionette) of Oxford; sisters, Vanessa Tackett (Richard) of Oxford, and Eleanor Randolph of Coatesville; 19 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one aunt, Diane Jackson of Florida, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Denean R. Randolph; and brother, William Randolph.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA 19320. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM.
