Obituary

Dean Ray Lowman, 57, of West Caln, Coatesville, PA, surrounded by his loving mother and sister, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at home.

Born in Phoenixville, PA, Dean was one of two children born to Lillian (Kelln) Lowman, and the late Grady Lynn Lowman.

Dean graduated from Owen J. Roberts High School, class of 1981 and CHI Institute in the Computer Technician program. He worked in the IT field for 34 years, most recently with CompuCom Systems. He took a two year break from IT, during which he obtained his CDL and traveled across our country.

A lover of animals, Dean rescued two cats he adored. His family was very important to him. Dean loved camping, boating and water skiing. He enjoyed automobile racing and cheering on his #1 NASCAR driver, Bill Elliott. Dean's BBQ skill and genius was nationally known and his creations were enjoyed by all. He loved attending rock concerts with Tom Petty as his favorite. Dean's Christmas shopping skills were remarkable; he would pick one store, do it all in an hour or two and always hit a home run with the perfect gift for everyone on his list. He was a creative woodworker. Dean was known for his humor, infectious smile and his willingness to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his mother, Lillian, he will leave fond and dear memories with his sister, Elaine Zeisler and her husband Lawrence, of Coatesville; nephew, Zach Zeisler; niece, Teal Zeisler and her husband Derek Swingley; and great nephew Wilder Swingley; belle-famille, Norman and Emme Haggie, Heath Isaac, Leigh Isaac, Sheryl Swingley; and his aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Noah's Ark Rescue Project and Sanctuary, PO Box 301, Uwchland, PA 19480 or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Family and friends may share condolences at the guestbook link on this memorial page.
