Dawn Marie Brady, 45, of Downingtown, Pennsylvania, passed away on July 24, 2026 surrounded by the ones she cherished the most. She was born on October 17, 1980, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to Mark Brady and Cheryl Marshman.

Dawn was a graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School and above all, a devoted mother and loving wife. She married James Wilgis on August 10, 2024, and cherished the life they built together.

A woman of deep faith, Dawn was a firm believer in Christ and found comfort in God’s word. Her favorite book of the Bible was Psalms, and her favorite poem was Footprints in the Sand.

Dawn found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved spending time with her family, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying a good plate of pasta. If you knew Dawn, chances are you remember seeing her with an A&W Root Beer in her hand. She enjoyed watching reality television, sitcoms, and documentaries. She had a colorful spirit and loved glitter, rainbow colors, Strawberry Shortcake, and Rainbow Brite. She could spend hours shopping and loved Yankee Candles, Febreze air fresheners, and collecting knickknacks. Dawn enjoyed getting dressed up every day, cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles, reading books, and writing in her journal.

Dawn lived with love, compassion, kindness, sincerity, and a heart of gold. She was strong, caring, supportive, and always put the needs of others before her own. She faithfully checked in on her family, offered encouragement to those who were struggling, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

One of Dawn’s favorite sayings was, “No Fighting” as she always wanted everyone to get along. Those who knew her will remember her warm heart, infectious smile, and the genuine love she showed everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed, valued, and deeply cared for.

Dawn is survived by her loving husband, James Wilgis of Downingtown; her mother, Cheryl Brooks, and stepfather, Joe Brooks; her children, Tyler Arroyo, Kayla Arroyo, Jailynn Arroyo, Leaja Arroyo, and Aiden Arroyo, all of Coatesville; her stepchildren, RJ Wilgis, Ava Wilgis, and Jaxon Wilgis of Downingtown; her siblings, Billy Peron, Ryan Brady, and Hannah Brady; her grandchildren, Xzavier Rosario, Brecieana Arroyo, and Leovoni White; her Aunt Debbie Franum-Brady; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Brady; her grandmother, Thelma Peron; her great-grandmother, Betty Marshman; and her great-grandmother, Mary Young.
