Late Monday night, August 30, 2021, surrounded by his family, David C. Lavender, aka "Dawuud", passed away at home.  David was 49 years old.

David was born in Coatesville, PA, to the late John Lavender and Tillie (London) Lavender.  He was the husband of Suzanne (Winther) Lavender.

He attended the Masjid Ar-Rahman house of prayer on Merchant Street in Coatesville.

The ceremonial washing and shrouding (the Ghusl) was performed at 10:00 AM, and the Salat al Janazah muslim funeral prayer were held, 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc, 725 Merchant St., Coatesville, PA.

Burial was in the muslim section at Fairview Cemetery, Coatesville.
