Cynthia L. Brickhouse,"Cinnie", 95, of Coatesville passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Brandywine Hall in West Chester. Born in Wilkesboro, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Winston and Alice Brown. She was the wife of the late Samuel Giddings-Brickhouse.

Cinnie had been employed at the former Coatesville Hospital and later worked at Embreeville State Hospital in the dietary department until she retired.

She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Coatesville.  She enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with her family.

She is survived by one son, David (Brenda) Brickhouse of California; two daughters, Harriett Brickhouse of Downingtown, Clara Giddings of New York; one sister, Alice Lewis of Coatesville, one brother, Lewis (Dorothy) Brown of Phila; an honorary sister, Blanche Smith of Coatesville; 7 grandchildren; 18 great  grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
