Constance B. (Turner) Jackson was born on October 27, 1920, to the late Edward D. Turner and Maude B. Turner. She passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Lankenau Hospital after a brief illness. She was 102 years old.

She was preceded in death by four sons; Robbie, Jackie, Donnie, and Eddie. She was also preceded in death by nine siblings: Evelyn Cummings, Barbara Rheubottom, Francis Turner, Hilda M. Wright, Jean Lewis, Phyllis G. Winters, Edward D. Turner, Jr, Leroy A. Turner, Sr., and Corporal Thomas S. Turner, Sr.

Connie, as she was known by family and friends, worked as an aide helping Pre-K students. She diligently worked the voting polls in Media, PA  for several years.

She loved drawing, sewing, and singing. She was a member of Ebenezer AME Church in Glenolden, PA.

Connie leaves to mourn her passing, her loving daughter Constance Ann Hawks; 19 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 40 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

May she rest in eternal peace. Forever in our hearts.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, December 9, 2022, at First United Methodist Church, 350 W State St, Media, PA, 19063. A viewing will be held beginning at 11:00 AM until the start of the service. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery, 6501 Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne, PA 19050.
