Claude Norris III was born on October 12, 1990, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Claude Jr. and Desiree Norris. He was affectionately known as "L.C." by his family and friends.
L.C. received his early education from the Coatesville area public schools. He was a 2009 graduate of Coatesville Area Senior High School. After high school, he attended Lincoln University and was currently attending West Chester University.  He had been employed at Wal-Mart in Exton for the past four years.

L.C. enjoyed playing football, paintball, and lifting weights. He was an up and coming comedian who was known for making people laugh. He also enjoyed taking pictures, shooting videos and spending time with his Siberian husky named "Storm".

L.C. passed away suddenly on the first of January, 2013.  Though his life seems to be brief in our view, his living touched many lives including his mother Desiree Norris, father Claude Norris, Jr.; brothers, Darrick Johnson, Damon Johnson; sisters, Cressida Stone and her husband Michael and Angel Dalton of Coatesville; maternal grandmother, Joyce Hodges and her husband Morizel; paternal grandmother Veronica Norris; maternal grandfather William Johnson and his wife Joyce; great grandmother, Corabelle Johnson; nieces, Cierra Johnson and Zyaira Bookman; nephews, Jacye Anderson, Caiden Stone; as well as, aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and many friends.

If tears could build a stairway

and memories were a lane,

I would walk right up to Heaven

and bring you home again.

No farewell words were spoken,

no time to say good-bye...

You were gone before I knew it,

and only God knows why.

My heart still aches in sadness

and secret tears still flow,

What it means to lose you

no one will ever know.
