January 10, 1954 – August 15, 2021
Chiquita Inez Trowery "Kitty", transitioned home on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at the age of 67. She was born the second to the oldest daughter of John W. Trowery and the late Ethel P. Turner Trowery on January 10, 1954 in Coatesville, PA.
She started her journey off through varies towns and cities around the country and left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. In 1993 Chiquita received her associates degree graduating with honors from Mott Community College in Flint, Michigan, majoring in Business Management.
One of her passions was volunteering her time to care for veterans the elderly. She loved to play bingo, write, paint and absolutely enjoyed participating in creating community gardens.
Chiquita's journey through this life will forever be remembered and cherished by her sons: Wilbert S. Mack, Jr (wife Felecia Mack), Maurice L. Mack (fiancé Michelle Gobert), grand & great grandchildren, father: John W. Trowery, Sr. (wife Carolyn Forte Trowery (deceased)), sisters: Glyna Ferguson (husband Elder Jay), Ethel Henderson, Sonya Murrey (husband Pastor Herbert), Frenchie Trowery, Marpessa Green, Tiana Dantzler, Shawn Hunt; brothers: Glen Marshall, Ronald Marshall, Randall Turner, Johnathan Trowery, Maurice Forte, Christopher Trowery and Nate Taylor along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by her wonderful mother: Ethel P. Turner Trowery, brothers: John W. Trowery, Jr, Robert T. Turner, Kevin Trowery and Jamarrow Trowery.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Phoenixville Hospital and Seasons Hospice for their 24-hour care. We would also like to extend a special thanks and appreciation to her dear friend Anthony Smith for his support during this time. Lastly, thank you to all of our family and friends for all of the warm loving prayers and encouraging phone calls.
