On Sunday evening, February 15, 2026, Charles Edward "Charlie" Thomas of "West End", Coatesville, PA, passed away at home after a prolonged illness. He was 51 years old.

Charlie was born in Parkesburg, PA. He was one of fourteen children born to the late Doris Marcella (Osborn) and Gerald Elsyworth Thomas.

He was the husband of Geneva Marie Thomas, with whom he shared many years of love.

He worked as a residential carpenter.  He was very particular about keeping the house clean and having things in order, and was very picky about his food.

Charlie, as he was affectionately known, had a very giving spirit and would do anything he could to help people in need. He was a great storyteller and enjoyed watching old TV shows, as well as collecting and building model race cars. He was well known and loved by the community.

In addition to his wife, Geneva, Charlie is survived by two stepdaughters, Genoa and Brittani; four step-grandchildren, Matthew, Trinity, Dominic, and Katara; his brothers and sisters; and other relatives and friends.

Charlie's family will plan a private gathering at a later date.
