In Loving Memory of Charles Allen Sturgill

1967 – 2025

Charles Allen "Al" Sturgill, age 58, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, surrounded by love.

A man who found peace in the stillness of nature, he was most at home among the mountains. Whether walking wooded trails or simply breathing in the crisp air, he found comfort and connection in the beauty of the outdoors. His appreciation for the natural world reflected the way he lived.

Those who knew Al will remember his gentle spirit, his thoughtful nature, and the way he made others feel truly seen and heard. He was a man of few words, but his presence spoke volumes.

Al was a cherished son and partner. He will be deeply missed by his fiancée, Deborah; his two children; his parents; his sister; and their families.

Though he may be gone from our sight, Al will remain forever in our hearts — as constant and enduring as the mountains he loved.

A memorial service celebrating Al's life will be held on October 4, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at the residence of 361 Park Rd, Nottingham, PA 19362.  Friends and family are invited to come share memories and honor the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
