Carlos Gutierrez Meeks, of Claymont, DE, formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 4, 2021, in Coatesville. Carlos was 40 years old.

Born in Coatesville, PA, he was the son of Rafael Gutierrez Matos of York, PA, and the late Rev. Gloria D. Meeks.

Besides his mother, Gloria, Carlos was preceded in death by his brother, Rafael L. "Chico" Meeks.

In addition to his father Rafael, Carlos leaves two daughters, Anicia Gutierrez, Londyn Gutierrez; maternal grandmother, Helen Meeks of Coatesville; brothers, Jonathan Michael Meeks, Herman Leroy Meeks, Jr.; aunts, Elder Carolyn L. Meeks, Pastor Melissa Ann (Meeks) Washington and her husband Pastor Richard G. Washington, Sr., Mable A. "Toni" Meeks, Patsy M. Meeks, and Peggy Boyd and her husband Joseph; uncles, Charles S. Meeks, and Dock L. Meeks, Jr., along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
