Brenda Diane Irene Fields, 78, of Coatesville, PA, entered into eternal rest on July 19, 2020 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester, PA.

Brenda was one of five children born to Ella L. (Barber) Rudolph and the late Robert E. Rudolph. She was the beloved wife of Walter L. Fields with whom she shared 55 years of marriage.

Bren, as she was affectionately known, was a 1960 graduate of S. Horace Scott Senior High School in Coatesville, PA. She was employed by the Coatesville VA Hospital for 30 years, until she retired. She also worked at Freedom Village for 16 years.   She took her duties seriously and had a dedicated work ethic.  She had a "go get it done attitude".

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Passtown, where she served as a Missionary.  Bren also sang on the Sparks of Joy youth choir in her earlier years.  She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family.

She leaves a legacy of love and memories to her husband, Walter; daughters, Sharon Rudolph Lee (William "Rick") of Glenmoore, PA; Tonya Fields Mayes of Middletown, DE; son, Robert Fields (Eugenia) of Charleston, SC; mother, Ella Rudolph of Coatesville, PA; brothers, Henry "Fonnie" Rudolph (Renate) of Germany; Robert "Sonny" Rudolph of Coatesville, PA; sister, Doris L. Koon (Joseph) of Coatesville, PA; grandchildren: Desiree Fields, William Lee, Lauryn Lee, Jarrett Mayes, Alechia Bean, Robert "AJ" Fields  Jr. and Kaleb Fields and a host of great grands, other relatives and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by one son, Walter L. Fields, Jr.; sister, Wanda Anderson; sister-in-law, Lois "Lolly" Rudolph; and godson, Dwain Koon.

A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at New Evergreen Cemetery, Coatesville, PA.
