Brenda K. Bookman, 70, of Coatesville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at the Brandywine Hall, West Chester. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Leslie C. Kyle and Germaine Arnetta Kyle, and the wife of Nathan R. Bookman, Sr. She had been employed at the VA Hospital, Coatesville Hospital and the Brandywine Hospital until she retired in 2009. Brenda enjoyed cooking, decorating, shopping and sewing.
She was most recently preceded in death by her brother, Gene Kyle in 2014.
She is survived by her husband, Nathan "Nate" R. Bookman, Sr.; sons, Nathan R. Bookman, Jr. and Leslie Bookman of Coatesville; stepdaughter, Monica Brandon-Huggins of Coatesville; brother, Allen R. Kyle of Coatesville; sister, Janice Blockson of Harrisburg; six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
