Boston (Bobby) Peoples, Jr., 70, of Mount Joy, PA, formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center in Lebanon, PA. He was 70 years old.

Boston was born in Winston-Salem, NC, to the late Elvira (Jarrett) Peoples and Boston Peoples, Sr.

He served in the U.S. Air Force, obtaining the rank of AIC, and was honorably discharged in 1977.

Over the years, Boston had been employed as a Sprinkler Systems Installer in Fire Security.

In addition to his father, Boston Peoples, Sr., and mother, Evangelist Elvira Jarrett Peoples, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Peoples, Sr.

Bobby, as his family called him, leaves lasting memories to his two sons, Omega Peoples, Sr, and Duron Peoples, both of Coatesville; sisters, Nora L. Peoples of Coatesville, and Angela Shelton of Lancaster, PA; brothers, Derrick Peoples of Phoenix, AZ, and Clifton Foster of Brownsworth, GA; seven grandchildren, Taija Trowrey of Coatesville, Zayna Gable of Philadelphia, Kar-ron Peoples-Smith of Coatesville, Omega Peoples Jr, of Coatesville, Omere Peoples of Coatesville, Phierce Peoples of Coatesville, and Endigo Peoples of Coatesville. He was a proud Pop Pop to his grandkids. He will also be remembered by his long-time best friend, Horace of Reading, PA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Military honors will be observed at 2:30 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA 17003.
