Obituary

Beverly Anne (Sabocsik) Harris, 67 of Centerville, PA, passed away quietly in the loving presence of her family on Monday, December 19, 2022.

She was the loving wife of the late Nathan "Nate" Harris, Jr., whom we are certain was there to greet her when she transitioned.

Beverly, affectionately known as "Bev" was born in Coatesville, PA, on July 16, 1955 to the late John Sabocsik and Thelma (Shalley) Sabocsik Pappas.

During her adventurous life, she attended Coatesville schools, and later received an LPN license through Lebanon County Career and Tech. Immersed in her talents of caring for others, she was employed by New Perspectives at White Deer Run in Lebanon, PA.

Bev enjoyed life through her love of God and sharing his word with others. She was a talented artist, who loved flowers, animals and tie dye. She was a hippie at heart.

One of her favorite places in the world was spending family time at Rehoboth Beach in Delaware. Throughout her life she enjoyed many loving relationships and the company of close friendships. She shared much of her time with her dear and loving friend John Pieri, who greeted her with open arms and love when she arrived on the other side. Bev was ever loving and grateful for her lifelong friends Anna Mortelli King and Kathy Mills, who shared many childhood memories, support, love and laughs throughout her entire life.

Bev is survived by her four sons, Michael Todd Sabocsik (Darya), Malik Congo (Mark), Roger Henry, and Danny Harris (Devonne) all of Pennsylvania; her sister, Robin Pape (Michael) of Tennessee; and 11 grandchildren.

One of Bev's favorite's sayings when you offered her food was "just a taste" and then would eat all of your food, which she will be fondly remembered for.

The family will honor her privately in sharing one last trip to her favorite place, the beach.

In her memory, please feel free to make a kind donation to the Organization for Autism Research (OAR) - Researchautism.org.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers and love.
