Beverly L. Barnes, 71, of Coatesville passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia. Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late Albert Barnes, Sr. and Mary Ashlock Barnes.Over the years, she had been employed as a unit clerk at the Coatesville VAMC, CYWA, St. Martha Manor and Hickory House.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Passtown in Coatesville.
Beverly is survived by one daughter, Marlo (James) Collins of Coatesville; granddaughter Quiletta (De-norris) Wilson of Coatesville; one brother, Albert (Sue) Barnes, Jr. of NYC; 6 great grandchildren; nephew Johnny (Lisa) Barnes, other relatives and many friends.
Services will be held 10 am Saturday, March 15, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Passtown,117 Barber Avenue, Coatesville with a viewing from 8 am - 09:45 am.
Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery.
