Arthur "Redds" Snipes, Jr., 70, passed away Wednesday November 15, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital.  Born in Chatham County, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Arthur Snipes, Sr. and Nancy Baldwin Brown. He was the husband of Sandra Haines Snipes.

Arthur worked as a Truck Driver for the Coatesville Scrap Yard and Barkman Hauling. In addition to his love for his family, he loved his pride and joy a 1998 Red and Black Mustang. Truck Driving, and riding motorcycles were his passion.  He was also an avid Football Fan of the Washington Redskins.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Snipes; his daughters, Monica Smith and Carla Haines Marrero both of Coatesville; a son, Gerald Myers, Jr. (Yulanda) of Exton, PA; his sisters, Frances "Tink" Green, Pansy "Ida Mae" Fuller, Linda Tinnen, and Darlene Snipes (Charles) all of Durham, NC; his brother, Alvis Snipes (Phyllis) of Durham NC., and a cousin who was like a brother, George Cotten of Coatesville, PA; 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Curtis Baldwin.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 128 Irish Lane in Coatesville PA. A viewing will be held from 9-10:45AM.

Interment will be private.
