Obituary

Anthony O'Keefe Langley, age 59 of Coatesville, PA passed away on April 15, 2025. He was born November 9, 1965 in Riverside, NY to the late Daniel and Katherine (Barge) Langley. Anthony was a devoted son to his mother, whose memories he cherished.

Anthony was a true trooper of the Lord and a devout prayer warrior whose daily mission was to have GOD in his life.

As a child, Anthony's family moved to VA and he graduated from Shenandoah Valley Academy and attended Washington Adventist University. He traveled to Maryland, followed by Pennsylvania where he decided to make a home and joined Ebenezer SDA Church in Philadelphia. He achieved the position of Deacon and the Church became family.

Anthony was a loving and caring husband to his wife Maria, who was very impressed from the start.  He won her heart by formally placing a kiss on top of her hand in a true gentleman fashion as an introduction. What a smile! He exchanged wedding vows with Maria Gonzalez in 2010 and moved to Coatesville, PA.  Anthony attended Coatesville First SDA Church for several years. Upon Godly inspiration, he returned back to Ebenezer SDA Church which was designated as his HOME church despite the distance.

Anthony was employed at Allied Universal Services. Anthony is fondly remembered as a spiritual brother and kinsman to many, for he was always open to sharing his love of the Lord at any given time. Properly, Anthony would greet people with a hearty spiritual hello, especially known for his strong handshake and shoulder embraces to his fellow brothers. Anthony treasured his church fellowship with others.

Every day, Anthony planned to meet the Lord someday and wait for that crack in the sky. The Bible was his ticket home, which he carried with him by his side. Thus, Anthony was ready to witness with open ears and discuss God's word. Anthony was known for his biblical knowledge, since he studied God's word with an open heart since childhood. Overall, Anthony was an active member by volunteering on numerous church committees, sharing his spiritual gifts as needed. Anthony presented sermons at the pulpit and shared what God placed upon his heart. Anthony led and/or participated in multiple prayer groups. Anthony enjoyed listening and singing Christian music and hymns. On multiple occasions, he shared his gift of signing during church services. Anthony loved to cook his personal vegan lasagna dish for socials and family gatherings. Along with watching Christian movies, Anthony was interested in astronomy, Marvel Comic heroes, and mystery tv shows.

Anthony's presence will be missed by his wife, Church family, and especially those he impacted from the heart and in return, was impacted from them.

AMEN, AMEN.
