Ann Marie
(Manning) Dean
October 22, 1939 – June 10, 2023
Ann Marie Manning Dean was born on October 22, 1939, in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to Frank Manning Sr. and Myrtle Corbin Manning. She was the only girl of three children: her older brother Frank Manning Jr. and her baby brother Joseph Manning.
Ann Marie married Vincent Thomas Dean on May 13, 1974. They were blessed with two children; a daughter, Carmen Maria Dean, and son, Anthony Vincent Dean.
She attended Cheyney University where she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She received her Elementary Certification from the University of Pennsylvania. She furthered her education and received her Master's Degree from the University of Portland and later studied Educational Administration at Villanova University. She spent her entire career as an educator in the School District of Philadelphia; most of those years teaching at Daroff Elementary School. Ann Marie retired in 2002 after 40 ½ years of service to the children of Philadelphia.
Ann Marie served faithfully at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church for many years where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, and on a host of other ministries.
After retiring, she spent time engaged in many activities such as drawing, jewelry making, knitting, computer classes, and a host of other activities.
Ann Marie was touched by God while she simply slept, and was called from labor to reward on June 10, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent; parents Frank Sr. and Myrtle Manning; and her brother Frank Jr.
Ann Marie is survived by her daughter, Carmen; son, Anthony; daughter-in-law, Trina; grandchildren, Parrish, Tiana, Siani, Jaden, Aaron (AJ), and Isaiah; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Aceso´n and Araya; brother, Joseph; sister-in-law, Beverly; aunt, Maranda; nephews, Kenny and Mark; nieces, Debbie, Rhonda, Joanne, Princess, Darcia, Shannon (Best Friends Forever), LeAnne, Maranda, Sharee, Candice, and Christina, and host of cousins whom she loved and adored.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc, 725 Merchant St., Coatesville, PA, 19320. Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM.

The interment will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Lansdowne, PA.
