Andrew H. Shelton, Sr. "Andy Clyde", 61, of Coatesville, died March 2, 2012 at the Coatesville VA Medical Center.

Born in Coatesville, He was the son of the late Walter & Mildred Shockley Shelton.

A US Army veteran, he served two years until he was honorably discharged.

Andy enjoyed fishing, camping and was an avid Eagles fan.

He is survived by four daughters, Charlene Lawrence-Williams (Robert) of Coatesville, Donita Bowman, and Laura Schuler both Lancaster , Ashley Shelton of Phila; six sons, Steven Reeves, Andrew Shelton, Jr. (Tracie), Robin Shelton, Henry Bowman (Tamika) all of Coatesville, Raymond Bowman (Shannon), Andrew Bowman (Augeinee) both of Lancaster; five brothers, David Shockley (Henrietta), Sherman Shelton (Gardenia), Raymond Shelton, Sydney Shelton, Cornelius Shelton all of Coatesville; five sisters,  Violet Anthony of West Chester, Martha Shelton, Mary Shelton, Cordelia Bowman (Clarence) all of Coatesville, Elizabeth Hassan (As-Sahoor) of Phila., 29 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, 725 Merchant St., Coatesville.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 9, at Bell Chapel Church, 132 Modena Rd, Coatesville with a viewing from 9 – 11am.

Interment will be held on Monday, March 12 in the Indiantown National Cemetery, Annville, Pa.
