Andrew C. Scott, Sr., 55, of Thorndale, PA passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at the Chester County Hospital, in West Chester.

Born in Coatesville, he was the son of Joyce O. London Scott and the late Charles Scott, Jr. He was affectionately known as Andy by his family and friends.

Andy loved making music and listening to hip-hop. He had many friends. He also enjoyed driving his low-rider Toyota Camry while listening to music.  Andy got great enjoyment from eating the foods that he loved including hotdogs, baked beans, and applesauce. Most of all, he was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Andy was a cherished member of the family—a devoted son, father, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.

He leaves treasured memories to his children, ZaQues Scott of Arizona, Andrew Scott Jr. of Chester, Zaire Hall of Coatesville, Javon Scott and Deshawn Scott both of Ohio; granddaughter, Zayla Braswell; mother, Joyce O. Scott of Thorndale; brother, Maurice Scott of Thorndale; niece, Apollonia Scott of Dallas, TX; nephew, Maurice Scott, Jr.; aunts, Sheila Bryant of Harrisburg, Betty Jane Webb of Coatesville; uncles: Larry London (Anita), Lester London (Carol) both of Coatesville, Michael London (Gloria) of New Jersey, Andrew London Sr. (Gwen) of Harrisburg, and Barry London of Kennett Square; special cousins, Teon Lee, Kim Brake, Tracy Brake and Sonia Brake, and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Scott, III, and a sister, Laynette Scott.

A service celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville PA. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. He will be laid to rest, with other family members that preceded him, at the Mt. Zion Hill Church Cemetery in Atglen, PA.
