Amir S. Hudson
1978-2014
Amir S. Hudson, "Huds Daddy", 36, of Warren, Michigan, formerly of Coatesville, passed away October 28, 2014. He was the son of Pamela Ray Hudson and the late Lorenzo L. Hudson, Sr. He was affectionately called "Huds Daddy" or "A.S.H" by his family and friends.
Raised in Coatesville, he attended the Coatesville area public schools and graduated from CASH in 1996. Amir resided in Detroit, Michigan for the past 12 years. He was employed as a security guard.
He was a talented athlete who excelled at playing football in high school and college.
Amir was awarded a football scholarship from Florida A & M. He attended FAMU for 2 years, then transferred to Lane college where he graduated in 2002 earning a BA Degree in Criminal Justice. Amir enjoyed all kinds of music and road trips to visit family and friends. He had an incredible ability to bless people with his presence, his jokes caused hours of laughter, as he could lighten the mood of any room. Amir was known as a "Gentle Giant" by anyone who truly knew him because of his kindheartedness and ability to listen and be compassionate.
He is survived by his mother, Pamela C. Hudson of Coatesville; three brothers, Jay Maurice Ray of Coatesville, Lorenzo (Candace) Hudson, Jr. of Hinesville, Georgia, Dana (Sundae) Adam LaMar Ray of Richmond, Virginia; one sister Pamela (Bobby) Hudson Fair of Hinesville, Georgia.
The family thanks all those who gave financial donations to help cover funeral costs.
